Studying hard and growing fast means children can often be hungry, so it is very important they eat regular nutritious meals. Evidence shows that eating a healthy, nutritious meal at lunchtime has important health and educational benefits for children. The meals can improve their diet and increase their concentration in lessons. The meals can also help children to develop healthy eating habits, improve social skills and can potentially decrease health inequalities.
We run our own in-house catering service offering a highly appealing and tasty choice of dinners in line with our commitment to being a Healthy School. All children have a choice of vegetarian or meat option (all our meat is Halal) as their main meal, plus a choice of homemade dessert or fruit. In addition, the children have access to a well-stocked salad bar and freshly baked bread every day.
PLEASE NOTE THAT WE REQUIRE ONE FULL WEEK’S NOTICE IF YOU WISH YOUR CHILD TO START OR STOP HAVING SCHOOL LUNCHES OR CHANGE YOUR SELECTED DAYS.
