Communication

We will communicate with you in a number of ways:

• School app: My Child at school
• Directly via the class teacher
• Telephone calls
• Text – important reminders only
• School website

The class teacher will talk to you about your child to share information about achievements or concerns. You will also receive termly reports. At parents’ evenings you can discuss your child’s progress, these take place every term. We also hold workshops in school to explain the way we teach, which helps you support your child at home with their learning.

Each child has a school planner with expectations, reading records or journal, spelling tests and times table tests. Your child’s planner will have logins for them to use Google Classroom, Times Table Rockstars, Accelerated Reader and BusyThings.

My Child at School app will keep you updated with our school news and events, and book Breakfast Club, POPS Kids, school trips, and teacher-led clubs.
