Absence Due to Illness

If your child is unwell and unable to attend school you must report the absence via Weduc every day with full details of the absence (Unwell or sick) is not a sufficient explanation. Please go to Weduc and click on the menu and select the Parent Portal.

Application for Absence for Exceptional Circumstances

In line with the Government's September 2014 amendments to the 2006 regulations any leave of absence during term time will NOT be authorised. The Headteacher, on behalf of the Governing Board, will only authorise leave in exceptional circumstances. Each request will be assessed on an individual basis and documentary evidence may be requested.

If leave is taken without authorisation then the Local Authority may issue a Fixed Penalty notice of £60 to each parent for each child.
